The B&T paper that she had used on her card was simply stunning (even though it was not CTMH). I didn't have anything like it in my collection (this too was a surprise considering the size of my paper collection). So I proceeded to try and make my own. I started with a simple polka dot paper. That's where the simplicity ended! I then pulled out my largest acrylic block and started arranging a collection of word stamps on the block--I used over 10 different stamp sets to get the look I was after. I stamped a full sheet of paper so that I could make multiple cards. I love the way the paper turned out--but am not likely to do this too often!
"A friend is someone who
knows the song in your heart
and will sing it back to you
when you forget the words."
This post is in recognition of the friends in my life that mean so much to me! From the new friends I've met in my scrapbooking journey, my customers that I am honored to now call friends, to the friends and sisters that are always ready with a supportive ear and an open heart.
Thank you
Carolyn
Carolyn, this card is just gorgeous! Love your background paper. Great post about the ruler, too - I didn't know about the holes at all. Glad to find your blog :o)
